Competitive Scholarship Applications

 

Hampden-Sydney College students

 

Online Applications available:  September 5, 2009

Deadline for all scholarship applications:  October 16, 2009

To APPLY for a competitive scholarship through the VFIC, student MUST:

  • currently attend a VFIC College or University
  • be a full-time undergraduate student,
  • be a citizen of the United States,
  • meet all criteria for the scholarship,
  • submit a resume with your application,
  • have two (2) letters of recommendation mailed to the VFIC no later than October 16, 2009,
  • and meet ALL criteria, etc. for the scholarship for which you are applying (see below).

Norfolk Southern - 3 Scholarships ($5,000 each) will be awarded
Application Deadline:  deadline has passed for Fall 2009 application
Students - see your financial aid office for application information.

We are pleased to announce that the application are now available for the Norfolk Southern Scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to 3 Scholars ($5,000 each) who are current Juniors at a VFIC institution.   Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students attending a VFIC college or university, demonstrate financial need, academic promise and exhibit leadership skills (see link below for specific criteria).   Students register online and apply at www.vficprograms.org (deadline has passed for Fall 2009 application).
